New Mexico Pets ALIVE! (NMPA) is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization currently providing community, advocacy, rescue, training and educational programs to help save more people and pets across New Mexico. We cannot do what we do without volunteers.  As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the assistance of caring and hard-working volunteers in all of our programs.  Volunteers can make the difference between life and death for the companion animals and those caring for them waiting for our help across New Mexico.  As our organization grows, the variety of assistance needed grows and there’s something each one of us can do. Some volunteer work can be done remotely from any location.

Volunteer Requirements:
Step:1 - submit the NMPA Volunteer Application and Agreement. Shortly thereafter, you will receive an email with information on NMPA protocols, policies and a list of current volunteer opportunities. We are a small organization at this time so volunteers address the specific needs of the organization for any given week.
Step:2 - attend any additional training sessions as required to perform your volunteer task/s.
Step: 3 - NMPA volunteers represent themselves and NMPA in a professional manner and treat everyone with respect while undertaking NMPA volunteer tasks.
